The journal invites researchers to submit their original works related to \u201cUnconventional Monetary Policy in Japan\u201d. We welcome works which discuss how unique Japan\u2019s unconventional monetary policy is. Possible topics include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following: <\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Assessing the macroeconomic effects of Japan\u2019s quantitative monetary easing<br \/>\n&#8211; Price dynamics under unprecedented monetary expansion in Japan<br \/>\n&#8211; The role of expectations in Japan\u2019s monetary policy<br \/>\n&#8211; The transmission channels of Japan\u2019s monetary easing<br \/>\n&#8211; Negative interest rate policy in Japan<br \/>\n&#8211; Conducting Japan\u2019s unconventional monetary policy in times of uncertainty<br \/>\n&#8211; The role of forward guidance in Japan\u2019s monetary policy<br \/>\n&#8211; Relationships between Japan\u2019s monetary policy and international financial markets<br \/>\n&#8211; Comparison of unconventional monetary policy across countries<br \/>\n&#8211; Japan\u2019s unconventional monetary policy with huge fiscal deficits<br \/>\n&#8211; Yield Curve Control Policy in Japan<br \/>\n&#8211; Distributional consequences of Japan&#8217;s Unconventional Monetary Policies<br \/>\n&#8211; Exit Strategies from Japan&#8217;s Unconventional Monetary Policies<br \/>\n&#8211; Various approaches to evaluate Japan\u2019s unconventional monetary policy<\/p>\n<p>Those who are interested in publishing their works in JJIE should submit a preliminary draft or an extended abstract in WORD or PDF format via email to <a href=\"mailto:sfukuda@e.u-tokyo.ac.jp\" target=\"_blank\">sfukuda@e.u-tokyo.ac.jp<\/a> and <a href=\"mailto:shioji@econ.hit-u.ac.jp\" target=\"_blank\">shioji@econ.hit-u.ac.jp<\/a> by  <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">September 1, 2017<\/span>. We will make the first selection based on the submission. Authors of selected papers will be notified by <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">September 30, 2017<\/span> and be requested to submit their complete paper by <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">March 10, 2018<\/span>. <\/p>\n<p>Complete papers will be considered \u2013 via a fast track review process \u2013 for a JJIE special issue titled \u201cUnconventional Monetary Policy in Japan,\u201d which is scheduled to be published in December 2018.
